Global IT glitch forced British Airways to cancel all flights

What appears to be an a major IT related incident has forced British Airways to cancel all flights from Britain’s two biggest airports Heathrow and Gatwick. 

At this time the company stated this is not related to Cyber security. 

According to the BBC a senior aviation figure – who wished to remain anonymous – said a failure of this magnitude was “extraordinary” and “rarely seen in the aviation industry”.
