My name is Ibrahim Yusuf. I am a cyber security professional and I have been in security for almost two decades. My particular interest lies in network wide defensive and offensive security and forensics. I am a Certified SANS forensics Analyst (GCFA) and Certified Information Security System Professional (CISSP).
I guide and assist organisations mitigate and reduce their exposure to breaches and incidences. I help security teams adopt an attacker’s mindset through threat hunting workshops and cyber threat response exercises. I have innate nature and ability to train, coach and mentor both technical and non-technical audience. I talk at public events and roadshows. I am a motivator of technical teams to appreciate the level of threat complexity organisations are up against.
This is a blog about Information Security. A place where I leave my thoughts, discuss, dissect and demystify the world of security. There is never enough about security today. These mentation might be useful to you whether you are a veteran in IT or just have a curious mind.
